Dr. Josephine Anne Clingan is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Clingan received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Medicine at Columbia University-Mount Sinai Morningside, in New York City. This included rotations at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Lenox Hill, and Columbia University Hospital.
Dr. Clingan sees patients with various painful conditions, including herniated and/or degenerative disc disease, joint osteoarthritis, sciatica, fibromyalgia, migraines, post-herpetic neuralgia, and more. She offers many interventional pain strategies, including epidural injections, selective nerve root injections, medial branch/facet blocks, radiofrequency ablation, pulsed radiofrequency neurotomy, spinal cord stimulation, sacroiliac joint injections, Botox for migraines, major joint injections including knees, hips, and shoulders, tennis elbow and golf elbow injections, trigger point injections, stellates, lumbar sympathetic blocks, and more.
As part of the SWCA team, Dr. Clingan sees each patient as an individual to rehabilitate conditions using interventional treatments and injections to return these patients to their optimal wellness.
