RASA GUZEVICIENE
Rasa Guzeviciene is a licensed physician assistant at Spine and Wellness Centers of America. She trained at the International Kaunas Medical Academy in the Republic of Lithuania. After completing her degree, she obtained her certification from Miami Dade College. Before joining our practice, she worked at the Embassy of Lithuania in the Republic of Kazakhstan. She is fluent in English, Russian, and Lithuania. She has a passion for restoring patient health and for providing modern and novel techniques for pain care.

ANDRES M. ALAVA
Andres Alava is a qualified licensed Registered Nurse with 4.5 years of acute clinical experience in direct patient care. He is committed to practice medicine using a holistic approach as well as acting as a patient advocate. He has a Master of Science in Nursing – specializing in Family Practice from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. Andres motto is “the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the services of others” – Mahatma Gandhi.

Stephanie Giselle Landa is a licensed Physician Assistant at Spine Wellness Centers of America, who attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at Florida International University and completed her Physician Assistant studies at Miami Dade College. Before joining SWCA, she worked at the University of Miami performing stem cell research in which received multiple publications. She continues to promote research and enjoys educating patients on healthy strategies to improve daily lifestyle.

CATALINA GALVIS
Catalina Galvis is a licensed Physician Assistant at Spine Wellness Centers of America. She attained a Bachelors degree in Exercise Sciences at Florida State University where she also was published for her work in cancer research. Catalina completed her Physician Assistant studies at Nova Southwestern University.
Before joining the practice, Catalina had prior experience in the field of neurosurgery with a focus on the spine. Catalina is devoted to ensuring that her patients receive the best quality of care.

ANAM QURESHI
Anam Qureshi is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Spine and Wellness Centers of America. She graduated from the University of Miami, obtaining her Master’s in Nursing with Honors in 2016. She primarily practices in Broward County, specializing in interventional pain care.
Anam is committed to providing the finest, safest, and up-to-date care for all her patients throughout various settings, primarily focusing on acute care.
Family Nurse Practitioner
YESENIA FRANQUI
Yesenia Franqui has worked in pain care since 2005 and has specialized in treating patients with spinal, neck, and back pain. Yesenia earned her Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Florida International University.
Her passion is to help patients manage their pain in a compassionate and caring manner. She is fluent in Spanish and believes that listening to the patient is key when treating pain care.

MARIA A. CALLEJA
Maria Calleja is our Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at most of our Refill Clinics for Spine Wellness Centers of America. She graduated with her Associates in Biology from Miami Dade College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida International University, and her Master’s in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner Program from Chamberlain College. Maria has over 6 years of clinical bedside experience treating patients with pain in specialties such as oncology, med-surgical, telemetry, and orthopedics. Maria is an active member of the American Nurses Association and participates in many volunteer activities such as the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and Feed the Children.

Ernesto L. Díaz is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who obtained his Master of Science in Nursing at Universidad del Turabo of Puerto Rico with a specialization in family practice. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has over 8 years of experience in a variety of specialties including stroke management, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery. He is devoted to providing excellent care for his patients.

Tatiana Hernandez is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Nova Southeastern. Tatiana has a Bachelors in Business Administration with over 8 + years of clinical nursing experience. Her past organizations include Mercy Hospital, Baptist Health, and Jackson Health as both a Registered Nurse and Internal Medicine Hospitalist. She was also selected to be part of the first cohort of the Nursing Leadership Institute (NLI) with Baptist Health. She is now specializing in acute and chronic pain treatments.

Shanee Bouskila is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. Shanee rotates within many of the skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Broward and Miami-Dade County, specializing in pain care. Shanee earned her Masters of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Miami. Prior to joining our team, Shanee worked at Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital within the Pediatric Intermediate Care Department for seven years.

My name is Artur Teregulov, I’m a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I graduated with master’s degree from South University in 2021. I also have bachelor’s degree in Nursing from George Washington University which I have completed with honors. I have been a nurse in the United States for past 10 years and was providing post-op pain management for past seven years in the recovery room at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. My passion is to help patients in need of medical attention while applying my knowledge and expertise.

She graduated from Touro College School of Health Sciences with a Bachelors of Science and Certification as a Physician Assistant. She studied abroad at Bar-Ilan university in Ramat Gan, Israel and obtained her Bachelors of Arts at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Carmen Rosado is a team leader that manages the Payroll and Accounts Payable division for Spine and Wellness Centers of America (SWCA). She is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a Certified Notary. Carmen has been a key member of SWCA since its inception in 2013.

Cathia comes to SWCA with over 15 years of experience in customer service and a true passion for helping patients as well as her team members. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Cathia moved to Miami in search of better education for her beloved daughter. She studied Pedagogy at Loyola University in New Orleans and now finds her home at SWCA where she lives by her favorite quote: “I will never see a situation as a problem rather than a challenge to learn, evolve, and prosper as a team and individual. Working together works.”

GISELLE DEL VALLE
Giselle Del Valle is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Spine and Wellness Centers of America. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from University of Florida, and a Master’s in Medical Sciences from University of South Florida. Gisselle has worked as a medical scribe in the Emergency Room for 8 years. She started working as a Medical Assistant at Spine and Wellness Centers and is now responsible for overseeing all of the Medical Assistants in the practice and implementing clinical protocols in our clinics.

Naumara Delgado is our clinical Licensed Practical Nurse, she is always working diligently to assure that each patient understands their plan of care and that no question goes unanswered.
She has worked in pain care and neurosurgery for over 3 years. Naumara also has some years of experience in pre- and post-operative care. She received her nursing license in 2011 from McFatter Technical Institute in Davie, FL.

Cristina Garcia, the Vice President of Operations at Spine and Wellness Centers of America, brings over two decades of healthcare leadership and physician practice experience to her role. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, she has always maintained deep ties to her community.
A proud “Double Panther,” Cristina earned her undergraduate degree in psychology, followed by an MBA from Florida International University (FIU). Her academic journey provided her with a unique blend of insights into human behavior and expertise in business management.
Throughout her career, Cristina has accumulated extensive experience across a wide range of medical specialties, including pediatrics, surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics/gynecology. Beyond her professional pursuits, Cristina remains dedicated to giving back to her community and advocating for accessible healthcare services for all.

Summer Xia is the Director of Finance for Spine and Wellness Centers of America. She graduated with a Masters in Finance from Florida International University and has a strong background in math and statistical analysis. Summer was born and raised in Anhui Province, China until her ambitions to further her education and career brought her to Miami. Her extensive knowledge of finance and solid work ethic continues to provide our facilities with sophisticated financial advice to better the efficiency and economic standing of our physicians. Summer is a key resource for the Director of Finance and the company.

Iris Perez is the Director of Operations at Spine and Wellness Centers of America. She graduated with honors from Florida International University with a Bachelor in Health Services Administration. She has worked in the healthcare industry for over four years, gaining experience in administration, project management, operations, and human resources. At Spine and Wellness of America (SWCA), she oversees the daily operations of our clinics and manages different departments, ensuring that operations run smoothly and that our goals are achieved. For Iris, providing high-quality healthcare to patients is the most rewarding part of the role. Her strong academic background and professional experience, leadership skills, and work ethic make a valuable contribution to the organization.

Tommy Martinez is the Director of Business Development at Spine and Wellness Centers of America. Tommy was born in Newark, NJ, and has spent most of his life in South Florida. In the summer of 2019, Tommy joined SWCA as a financial analyst intern. His business skills and natural leadership ability quickly proved to be an important asset, as he led various projects and helped launch new clinics. After rising through the ranks, Tommy now enjoys the title of Director of Business Development. He is a staunch believer in the American dream. The sky is the limit.

Shakira Lebron is the Lead Officer for Spine and Wellness Centers of America. She has been a part of the SWCA team since 2016. Shakira started working as a front desk receptionist and was later promoted to Medical Assistant. Shakira now oversees the medical assistants, front desk receptionists, and the insurance verifications department. She also assists in implementing and supervising clinical protocols in our clinics. Shakira is open to new experiences, skills, and information that would help improve her abilities. Shakira is currently a student at Broward Community College and is on her way to obtaining a degree in Health and Administration.

Monica is a Certified Paralegal with 12 years of experienced combined in both the legal and medical field, which has provided her with exposure to many areas of law. She is an active member of the American Bar Association and a Certified Notary. Esti anticipates graduating next spring with honors and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Esti is a serial marketer and likes to market with a heavy focus on building relationships. At Spine and Wellness Centers of America (SWCA), he handles the communications between SWCA and its business partners. He also is actively looking to foster new business relationships on behalf of SWCA.
