Dr. Michelle weiner is Double board-certified in Interventional Pain Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is the Director of Integrative Pain Management at Spine and Wellness Centers of America. Dr. Weiner completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of Miami. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Weiner is a member of Florida’s Medical Cannabis Advisory Committee. Dr. Weiner’s unique approach to personalized integrative pain management allows her to treat the root cause of one’s pain and suffering, both physical and emotional, providing comprehensive and durable relief. She uses a biopsychosocial model including lifestyle and plant medicine to empower her patients to cultivate health and optimize quality of life.

Dr. Weiner was trained in ketamine assisted psychotherapy by the Ketamine Training Center and incorporates a multidisciplinary patient centered approach. Her cannabis research focuses on using cannabis as a substitute for opioids in chronic pain patients and cannabis’s effect on seniors with chronic pain. Her research at the University of Miami compared psychedelic vs psycholytic doses of ketamine to treat chronic pain and depression. She is the Vice president of Mr Psychedelic Law, a not-for-profit with the mission of responsible legal reform of psilocybin in Florida. Dr weiner is a clinical advisor for Iter investments, a psychedelic fund and is passionate about exploring new paradigms.

Dr. Paolo Christopher Mimbella is a Double Board Certified Physician with expertise in both Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He has been practicing medicine for over 8 years – specifically practicing Interventional Pain Medicine for more than 3 of them. He is an alumnus of the University of Miami twice over, having received his baccalaureate and Master’s degrees from ‘the U’ with a focus on Exercise Physiology. He completed his Internship at Lincoln Medical Center – Weill Cornell in New York and graduated as Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University. Subsequently, Dr. Mimbella completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and served as Academic Chief Resident at the University of Texas at Houston, McGovern School of Medicine. Finally, he completed additional Fellowship training in Multidisciplinary Pain Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

Dr. Mark Abumoussa graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi College receiving his Master’s Degree in Biology-Medical Sciences. He received his M.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was the recipient of both the Wilder Medical Scholarship and the Thomas J Dark Medical Scholarship.

He has conducted research and studied Clinical Neurosurgery and Pain Medicine at several different universities, colleges, and research centers. His interests include interventional procedures targeted at pain pathway modification, including spinal cord stimulators, peripheral nerve stimulators, and DRG. He completed his anesthesiology training in Charleston, SC, and speaks 3 languages including English, Spanish, and Arabic.

Dr. Abumoussa is an avid volunteer at youth organizations and in his free time also enjoys soccer, basketball, tennis, everything UNC sports, and hiking/mountaineering. He has a passion for serving the Latin community and plans to do mission work in South America with his twin brother.

Dr. Silva’s goal is to individualize each treatment plan to best suit the patient. He uses a multimodal approach including interventional procedures, medications, and physical therapy. Although he treats many different conditions, Dr. Silva specializes in Chronic low back, radiculopathy, sacroiliitis, facet pain, discogenic pain, neck pain, osteoarthritis, joint pain, neuropathic pain, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), cancer-related pain, postherpetic neuralgia, headaches, and migraines.
 
Dr. Silva’s personalized exams help each patient get to the root of their pain problem by addressing each of their specific needs and concerns.
